CORBIN, KY (December 16, 2019) – The Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) presented Senator Robert Stivers (R-Manchester) with a 2019 “Friend of Kentucky Cities” award Monday night at the Corbin Board of Commissioners meeting.  The “Friend of Kentucky Cities” award is given to legislators who perform outstanding work that positively impacts cities across the state.

Pansy, KY. (December 14, 2019) – On December 14, 2019 at approximately 1:54 p.m. Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a call from Harlan ARH Hospital stating a 16 year old male juvenile had been brought to the emergency room with an alleged gunshot wound to the back of the head.

Frankfort, Ky. (Dec. 13, 2019) – Gov. Andy Beshear has directed flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff on Monday, Dec. 16, 2019, in honor of a Kentucky Marine killed in action during World War II, but whose remains were only recently identified.

Baxter, KY. (December 14, 2019) – 0n December 13, 2019 at approximately 4:25 A.M. Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a call of a shooting incident at a residence on KY 840 in the Baxter community of Harlan County. Trooper Aaron Caldwell responded to the scene. 

LONDON, KY (December 13, 2019) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: The "Sheriff's Most Wanted" suspect has been captured in Laurel County.

SOMERSET, KY - Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck reported in late November of 2019 that Geovonia D. Coleman, age 37 of 933 West Wood Court Danville, Kentucky was arrested following a traffic stop on Nelson Valley Road in Pulaski County.
